YOUR NEXT COMPANY:
Our client is a large national commercial building company that have a wide spectrum of quality projects to their name. They are known for their work particularly within Education, Government, Health, Defence and Commercial areas.

YOUR NEXT ROLE:
They are looking to hire a Design Manager who will oversee the quality of their designs ensuring customer satisfaction and liaising with a wide variety of stakeholders. Below are some of the tasks you will complete as part of the role:

  • You will oversee and approve development + building approvals.
  • Oversee the design process.
  • Coordinate and engage with consultants, estimators, clients, government agencies and more.
  • Conduct project evaluations and feasibility studies.
  • Manage client expectations.
  • Prepare scopes of works.
  • Oversee some of the early-stage design concepts.
  • Ad hoc tasks.


ARE YOU A FIT?
To be considered successful, you will have a Bachelor of Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management with numerous years of post-degree design experience, a good understanding and experience with design and construct projects of $10mill or more. You will have great communication skills; experience working on Australian construction projects and the proven ability to lead and guide others effectively.
