Role: Project Coordinator/Project Manager.
Scope: IWWTP project.
The plant will have a daily treatment capacity of 17,000 m3/day, a water reuse and demineralized
water production capacity of 12,000 m3/ day, and a brine water treatment capacity of 7,000
m3/day with the associated interconnections, pipe network, buildings & associated infrastructure.
The consultant is acting as the owner engineer for the SPV developing the treatment plant with
associated facilities and connections; the owner engineer will be responsible for design review
and site supervision activities following up on EPC contractors works and reporting directly to
the SPV.
Location: Jubail-KSA.
Main Duty:
He shall responsible for managing a site team of 15 members to supervise and overview the
construction activities extending over 30 months approximately; he shall also have a strong
technical background in the waste water treatment industry with site supervision expertise and
managed before similar types of projects with experience and knowledge of the KSA market and
applicable regulations and standards.
He shall be also able to manage the design , review team through monitoring the performance,
progress achieved, resolving disputes and addressing key issues in due time while ensuring design
review activities and the release of design documents from EPC contractors are aligned with the
set milestones so as to avoid any delays in construction and procurement activities.
Detailed Job Description:
Carrying out, on behalf of the OWNER (SPV), the below listed activities in collaboration with the
appointed teams for design review and construction supervision, at a minimum, in relation to the
EPC Contract.
Monitoring of EPC Contractor's activities,
Design and Engineering documentation review,
OWNER's Project Schedule monitoring and update,
Site and Construction activities supervision,
Site walkdowns and punching activities,
Site and Quality Inspections (including inspections at Manufacturer workshops),
Testing and commissioning supervision,
Plant Startup supervision and verification of performance guarantees,
Defects identification, and verification of EPC Contractor's corrective actions,
Attendance up to the end of all warranty periods, or as deemed decided by OWNER
Representing OWNER in meetings with EPC Contractor, Subcontractors and Vendors
Spare parts and special tools inspection
Project Management, including:
Cost Control
Schedule Control
Variation management
Claims resolution
Insurance claims management
Site Management
Vendor's management
Project Administration
Tendering (as applicable)

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in the relevant field from a recognized University
15+ years direct and relevant experience related to management of EPC Projects in Oil &
Gas, Petrochemical industry, Wastewater Treatment plants etc.
10 years of Construction and Site Experience
Minimum 7 years in Management position. Management of Multidisciplinary profiles.
Relevant international experience in major EPC Projects
Knowledge of the American codes and standards example: ASME, API, ASTM, ASHRAE
Bidding and tendering experience in major tenders
Basic design and FEED Experience in Major Projects.
Experience in Interface management among different partners, off-takers, contractors and
subcontractors.
Experience in International Standard Contracts (FIDIC, NEC)
Extensive network of vendors and suppliers worldwide.
Middle East and KSA Experience are required
Working hours:
10 hours daily, 6 days per week.
