Job Purpose:
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for managing all government-related activities and ensuring the company's compliance with Qatar's labor, immigration, and business regulations. This role serves as the main liaison between the company and government entities, ensuring smooth processing of employee visas, licenses, permits, and company documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all activities related to employee visa applications, renewals, cancellations, and transfers (work, residence, exit permits, etc.).
- Coordinate with ministries and government authorities such as the Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Interior, Immigration, Municipality, Chamber of Commerce, Civil Defense, and other relevant entities.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all company and employee official documents to ensure compliance and timely renewal (CR, Trade License, Establishment Card, Computer Card, etc.).
- Process and follow up on company-related legal documents including commercial registration, tax card, and other corporate certifications.
- Keep up to date with Qatar labor laws, immigration rules, and other government regulations to ensure full company compliance.
- Provide guidance and updates to management on regulatory changes affecting company operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a PRO in Qatar.
- Strong knowledge of Qatar Labor Law, Immigration processes, and online government portals (Hukoomi, MOI, MADLSA, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic (both written and verbal).
- Valid Qatar Driving License is required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
