Job Purpose:
Support in setting the budget and monitoring the spending and utilization of spares/materials and ensure coordination among all the maintenance units when implementing the plan


Job description:
Maintenance and Shutdown Planning Oversight
     Plan, forecast, and coordinate the availability of spare parts and maintenance materials to support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
     Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
     Collaborate with maintenance engineers and procurement teams to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials.
     Create, update, and manage material master data in SAP MM, ensuring data integrity for purchasing, inventory, and maintenance processes.
     Monitor material usage trends and adjust planning strategies using SAP analytics tools to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
     Generate reports on material status, inventory performance, and planning metrics using SAP MM and other reporting tools.


Financial Oversight and Reporting
     Support in setting the overall budget for the maintenance department
     Raise and follow up purchase requisitions and delivery for spares , consumables, tools & tackles
     Monitor the utilization of the maintenance spare
parts and ensure efficiency and optimization
     Create and maintain records for repair, overhaul and manufacture of spare parts required by the plant sub-section
Report on the maintenance department overall state to his supervisor and point out issues and recommend corrective actions



Qualifications, Experience, & Skills:

QUALIFICATIONS:
     Engineering degree (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial)

EXPERIENCE
     7+ years' experience in spares & maintenance planning in a similar industry SKILLS:
     Independent thinking
     Strong organizational and planning abilities
     Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
     Good English oral and written communication skills
     Good computer skills - proficient Microsoft Office user
     Proficient in SAP PM and MM module
     Proficient in Microsoft Projects
