About the job PARALEGAL (Private & Family Office)
Position Overview
The Paralegal will support the Private Office and act as a legal liaison for the family across all matters requiring documentation, preparation, communication, and coordination with external legal firms, government entities, legal authorities, and private institutions.
He must possess excellent legal drafting skills, the ability to review documents, coordinate legal activities, and communicate legally on behalf of the family with full confidentiality and accuracy.
This is a high-responsibility role requiring a candidate from a respected law firm or legal consultancy with a proven track record of handling sensitive and high-stakes matters.
Key Responsibilities
1. Legal Coordination & Representation
- Communicate legally on behalf of the family with external lawyers, government agencies, private institutions, and regulatory bodies.
- Serve as the primary legal liaison between the family and all legal service providers.
- Attend meetings, hearings, and legal discussions as required.
- Prepare legal summaries, case updates, and detailed briefs for the family.
2. Drafting & Reviewing Legal Documents
- Draft, revise, and prepare contracts, agreements, letters, authorizations, and legal forms.
- Review incoming legal documents and summarize key points, obligations, and risks.
- Ensure all documents comply with Qatari law and international regulations where applicable.
- Maintain strict accuracy and professional formatting of all documentation.
3. Legal Research & Compliance
- Conduct legal research related to family matters, property, contracts, investments, and personal affairs.
- Monitor changes in Qatari laws and regulations affecting the family or their assets.
- Ensure compliance with residency laws, visas, corporate regulations, licensing, and contractual obligations.
4. Coordination with Government & Legal Authorities
- Prepare submissions, applications, complaints, and official correspondence to ministries, courts, notaries, embassies, and regulatory bodies.
- Manage all notarization, attestation, and legalization tasks.
- Accompany family representatives to governmental appointments or legal filings.
5. Administrative & Case Management Duties
- Maintain well-organized legal files, records, case logs, and document archives.
- Track deadlines, renewal dates, court schedules, and submission timelines.
- Manage confidential records with the utmost discretion.
6. Communication & Linguistic Skills
- Provide flawless communication in both Arabic and English, written and verbal.
- Translate legal documents accurately when required.
- Represent the family professionally in all legal correspondence.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5 to 7 years experience working at a law firm or legal consultancy.
- Indian or Pakistani national, male, fluent in Arabic & English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Strong knowledge of Qatari civil, commercial, and personal laws.
- Excellent drafting and reviewing skills.
- High integrity, loyalty, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
