Network and NW Security Engineer L2

Position: Network & Security Engineer (L2)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Network & Security Engineer (L2) to manage, monitor, and secure enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in network troubleshooting, security technologies, and handling escalated issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network and security devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Handle escalated issues from L1 support and collaborate with L3 engineers
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability
• Perform network optimization and implement improvements
• Conduct security assessments and remediation activities
• Implement and support network security policies and procedures
• Work with monitoring tools such as PRTG and SolarWinds
• Prepare and maintain HLD and LLD documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure secure and efficient operations

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in network and security
• Certifications required: NSE4 and CCNA
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Cisco technologies
• Experience in firewalls, proxies, WAN optimization, and load balancing
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
