Responsibilities
Lead network architecture aligned with business goals and growth plans.
Design and implement scalable LAN, WLAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud-integrated networks.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to network engineering teams.
Act as highest technical escalation point for complex network issues across multiple projects.
Resolve critical incidents affecting on-prem and cloud infrastructure.
Support presales with technical designs, ROI analysis, and implementation plans.
Conduct network assessments to identify design gaps and performance bottlenecks.
Recommend and implement improvements to optimize reliability, security, and efficiency.
Manage vendor and service provider engagement for infrastructure delivery.
Oversee large-scale network projects with cross-functional collaboration.
Automate and track the effectiveness of routine and reactive network tasks.
Implement proactive performance improvements, network upgrades, and expansions.
Develop and test disaster recovery plans to maintain network availability.
Evaluate and integrate emerging network technologies for future-readiness.
Document network designs, configurations, and change management processes.
Monitor network performance using enterprise tools and provide regular insights.
Automate and track the effectiveness of routine and reactive network tasks.
3. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering.
CCIE certification is a must.
In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and enterprise network protocols.
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, wireless infrastructure, and ACI.
Experience in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
Background in cloud or hybrid network environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Working knowledge of disaster recovery planning and network documentation.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication with technical and business stakeholders.
4. Skills
Advanced enterprise networking (routing, switching, wireless, NAC, ACI/Spine-Leaf).
Deep understanding of enterprise network protocols and monitoring tools.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills under pressure.
Experience with SD-WAN, network automation, and scripting (Python, Ansible).
Practical knowledge of network security and access control methods.
Ability to lead network implementations and work across multiple IT domains.
Proficient in root cause analysis and stability tuning.
