Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement product roadmaps aligned with business goals.

  • Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor offerings.

  • Identify opportunities for new products or product enhancements.

  • Support pricing strategy and product positioning.

2. Product Lifecycle Management

  • Manage product lifecycle from concept to launch and post-launch.

  • Coordinate with R&D, engineering, design, and quality teams.

  • Monitor product performance and initiate improvements.

  • Prepare product requirement documents (PRD) and feature specifications.

3. Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct market feasibility, volume projections, and demand forecasts.

  • Track automotive industry developments and regulatory changes.

  • Provide insights to support strategic decision making.

4. Sales & Marketing Support

  • Collaborate with marketing to develop go-to-market strategies.

  • Support sales teams with product training and technical information.

  • Assist in preparing product presentations, brochures, and promotional material.

5. Cross-functional Coordination

  • Work closely with supply chain and production teams to ensure product availability.

  • Coordinate with finance for product costing and profitability analysis.

  • Align product launches with operational timelines.

6. Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track key product KPIs (sales, market share, revenue, margins).

  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards for management.

  • Recommend corrective actions to improve performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Automotive Management or related field.

  • MBA preferred.

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in product planning/management in the automotive industry.
