About the job IT Support

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Act as an onsite presence to address all IT related issues (fixed line, laptops, mobile phones and video conference systems) in a timely manner and undertake IT systems check as scheduled
  • Assist staff with the installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment (e.g., printers) and software
  • Ensure uptime for corporate networks, communication systems, and peripheral equipments
  • Ensure all IT issues and cases are logged and regularly updated to reflect the current status
  • Keep users up-to-date regarding the status of issues they have raised or any services disruptions that may impact their work
  • Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems and procure IT equipment (Desktops, Laptops, mobile phones etc)

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Recognised technical qualification in IT discipline with 2+ years of experience in desktop and network support services.
  • Experience in supporting fixed line, laptops, mobile phones, and video conference systems.
  • Experience in Cisco switching-routing configuration and Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Excellent time management, customer services and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous work experience within a mining industry or international company is desirable.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Lao and English.
  • Applicants must hold a valid Type B Driving License and possess strong driving skills.
