Senior Engineer - Reliability
We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join us during the growth phase of our business and champion diversity through all stages of our recruitment.Reporting to the Senior Superintendent Engineer and Planning, the Senior Engineer - Reliability will be responsible for supporting operations by ensuring that surface and underground mobile plant and equipment
consistently meet budgeted availability, performance, and cost objectives. This is achieved through the proactive application of reliability engineering principles and asset management practices, driving improvements that maximize equipment uptime and optimize lifecycle costs.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Develop maintenance equipment strategies.
- Analyze life cycle cost and end of life replacement strategies.
- Analyze equipment downtime and performance.
- Improve reliability through formal investigations and improvement plans.
- Manage equipment risk and contingency plans.
- Verify equipment strategies and quality deliverables.
- Monitor and analyze equipment conditions.
- Lead and manage operational readiness activities associated with equipment modifications and new equipment installations (e.g., CAPEX projects), ensuring successful integration into operations.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to a team of reliability and maintenance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or related technical field.
- 5-10 years of mobile maintenance experience in mining operations.
- A proven leadership track record, with strong team coordination and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong knowledge of mobile equipment of fleet types.
- Excellent written and oral language skills in both Lao and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and others.
- Hold a valid drivers license (Class B and C).
