Assistant Manager, Area Sales

Job responsibilities:

  • Manage the team & customers to sell products to achieve regional and local sales targets for assigned businesses/clients/territories and overall business objectives
  • Develop territory-wise / client-wise / business line-wise sales plans
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in customers accounts
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
  • Liaise with Marketing and Client Management teams to ensure brand consistency and effective communication to customers
  • Increasing customer penetration across all channels, e.g. Hospital, Clinic, Pharmacy and Wholesale channels
  • Gather and report client operational results in comparison to KPIs set in the service level agreements
  • Provide feedback and market & customer intelligence from the market to BD & CM teams as required Drive the team to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets
  • Act as a representative to communicate all other
    necessary issues to customers
  • Ensure strict adherence to compliance laws and
    regulations in all sales activities


Job requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Pharmaceutical, or an equivalent
    degree

  • Minimum 5-8 years experience in Sales in Healthcare or
    similar industry

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in a managerial capacity,
    managing a team of Sales Reps and/or Supervisors

  • Demonstrate fluency in local language and English, both
    written and spoken

  • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools
    (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
