Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing DevOps practices, particularly with expertise in Liquibase Snowflake CI/CD implementation. This role requires proficiency in integrating Test Suites with CI/CD pipelines, along with a solid understanding of basic SQL and Python scripting. Additionally, experience with AWS cloud services is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement Liquibase Snowflake CI/CD: The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Liquibase for database schema management and Snowflake for cloud data warehousing. This includes automating database deployments, version control, and ensuring smooth integration with other DevOps tools.
  2. Integration of Test Suite with CI/CD: Collaborate with development and testing teams to integrate test suites into the CI/CD pipeline. This involves automating test execution, result reporting, and ensuring test coverage across various stages of the pipeline.
  3. SQL and Python Scripting: Utilize SQL and Python scripting languages to automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment processes, and other DevOps tasks. The candidate should be proficient in writing efficient scripts to enhance automation and streamline workflows.
  4. AWS Cloud Services: Demonstrate expertise in AWS cloud services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and IAM. The DevOps Engineer will leverage AWS resources to build scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure environments as per project requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
  • Proficiency in Liquibase for database schema management and Snowflake for cloud data warehousing.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
  • Excellent scripting skills in SQL and Python for automation purposes.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud services and best practices for deployment, monitoring, and security.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical issues.
