Data Lake Architect

Mandatory experience:

• Overall IT experience (10+ Yrs)

Technical Skills

• Experience in RDBMS programming PL/SQL (Oracle) (addition MSSQL nice to have)
• Experience in data modelling (mandatory)
• Experience in Data Vault 2.0 (Mandatory)
• Experience of working on at least 2 end-to-end project
• Data Vault 2.0 Certification (Nice to have)Interpersonal Skills
• Understanding & writing Oracle SQL procedures, functions etc.
• Expertise in Data Vault for modeling (specific EDM topics will be part of onboarding)
• Knowledge of Data Lake architecture
• DataWarehouse knowledge, e.g. Infomart / Star-Schema
• Strong and innovative approach to problem solving and finding solutions.
• Excellent communicator (written and verbal, formal and informal).
• Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution.
• Ability to multi-task under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of sales/ logistics domain
• Basic knowledge of how data are stored in SAP ERP / APO

Expected Scope of work / Responsibilities:

• Functional Design document based on the customer requirements will be provided
• Pick up of requirements from customer, design and implement in the system
• Role: Lead Developer
• There are further technical team members -> work together with them on Cust. Req. in agile project (also assign
  tasks)
• Close alignment with Project Lead & Scrum Master to align on timelines, risks etc.
• Participation at daily as well as UD meetings
• Development of customization and configuration on functionalities of each work streams, as Outlined in Design
  document as per Business requirements
• Deployment steps to move the solutions to Customer environments including release notes of the functionalities
  and Bug fixes
• Bug resolution for all the bugs found in Functional, System & User testing to meet exit criteria of the phase
• Team to deploy all the code, scripts, and reports to all the applicable environments as per customer need. Apply
  required configuration, perform sanity checks
• Provide support for any break-fixes during production support.
• All the project deliverables should maintain traceability across all the phases
• to provide weekly status report to show progress status against the project plan and deliverables across all the
  work streams on weekly basis.
