head of Marketing and Communication

 Job Description:

Our client is targeting major expansion through an IPO and acquisition. Hence, they plan to add a substantial headcount to their Finance Department. We are supporting them in facilitating the acquisition.

The client's expansion plan is to spend 22 billion (approximately $263 million) over the next two years to expand its manufacturing capabilities. The expansion includes setting up an additional 2 GW solar cell manufacturing facility, with plans to double this capacity by 2027.

The Head of Marketing and Communication will lead Saatvik Solars brand strategy, market positioning, and communication efforts to drive growth, enhance brand awareness, and establish the company as a leader in the renewable energy sector. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in marketing, digital strategy, PR, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing & Brand Management

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Strengthen the Saatvik Solar brand through effective positioning, messaging, and storytelling.
  • Oversee market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive insights.
  • Drive lead generation and customer acquisition through targeted marketing campaigns.

Digital & Performance Marketing

  • Implement and optimize digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, PPC, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
  • Leverage data analytics to track marketing performance and ROI, optimizing campaigns for effectiveness.
  • Enhance website performance and digital presence to improve engagement and conversion rates.

Corporate Communications & Public Relations

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with media, industry analysts, and key stakeholders.
  • Manage public relations initiatives, including press releases, media interactions, and crisis communication.
  • Craft compelling narratives for thought leadership, blogs, white papers, and other content marketing initiatives.

Sales Enablement & Channel Support

  • Collaborate with the sales team to create impactful marketing collateral, presentations, and sales tools.
  • Develop strategies to support dealer, distributor, and partner networks with marketing resources and campaigns.
  • Organize trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to enhance brand presence.

Internal Communication & Employer Branding

  • Foster a strong internal communication culture to align employees with the brands vision and mission.
  • Implement employer branding initiatives to attract top talent in the renewable energy sector.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the renewable energy, solar, or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, content marketing, branding, and public relations.
  • Experience in B2B marketing and lead generation strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and data analytics platforms.
