Responsibilities
- Uses technology to make reports, drawings, and estimates.
- Makes recommendations for changes in design and specifications to the client or supervisor.
- Promotes professionalism and ethical behavior by ensuring appropriate use of equipment, materials and technology that may be of service to the profession.
- Identifies requirements for engineering design and analysis related to the project objectives and construction documents.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify and understand customer needs and requirements
- Provide technical support and expertise to customers and sales teams
- Assist in pump selection, sizing, and system design
- Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations for customers
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and concerns raised by customers
- Provide training and support to customers and colleagues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, orders, and requests
- Conduct outbound sales calls and follow-up on leads
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in CRM software
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics
- Continuously update product knowledge and sales techniques
- Provide feedback to management on customer needs and market trends.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in the pump industry
Familiarity with various types of pumps, pump systems, and applications
Experience in pump selection, sizing, and system design
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
Strong customer service orientation
Result-oriented and driven to meet sales targets
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication and presentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
