About the Role

Premier Global Links LLC is seeking a dependable, hands-on Mechanical Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, weld, and fabricate industrial spiral conveyor systems at customer facilities across the United States.

This customer-facing position is ideal for mechanically skilled professionals who are comfortable traveling nationwide, working in demanding food manufacturing environments, and performing hands-on equipment installation and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial spiral conveyor systems.
  • Perform field welding and fabrication, including MIG and TIG welding.
  • Diagnose mechanical equipment issues and complete necessary repairs.
  • Perform equipment inspections, testing, and quality checks.
  • Use mechanical measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Work directly with plant managers, engineers, and customer personnel.
  • Follow established safety procedures and maintain professional customer relationships.
  • Complete service work accurately and efficiently at customer sites.
  • Travel nationwide to food manufacturing and industrial facilities.
  • Adapt to varying work environments, schedules, and project requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on mechanical skills.
  • Experience with MIG and TIG welding and field fabrication.
  • Ability to work safely in physically demanding industrial environments.
  • Strong communication and professional customer-service skills.
  • Ability to travel nationwide for customer projects.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to pass a required background check and hair follicle drug test.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical service, millwright work, field service, or equipment installation.
  • Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
  • Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Manufacturing, food processing, or food plant experience.
  • Industrial conveyor installation or maintenance experience.

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
  • Climb equipment and structures up to 50 feet.
  • Work 12-hour shifts when required by project schedules.
  • Work in hot, cold, and demanding industrial environments.
  • Travel extensively to customer locations throughout the U.S.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $25–$35 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
