Location: Maadi, Cairo, Egypt (Hybrid)

We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer II to lead the technical deployment and integration of AI-driven enterprise solutions within banking and enterprise environments. In this role, you will collaborate directly with client IT, infrastructure, security, and business teams to design deployment architectures, build integrations, and ensure successful implementation and ongoing support of client environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment and lifecycle management of enterprise software solutions within client environments, including on-premises and highly secure infrastructures.
• Design deployment architectures, network topology, security requirements, integration points, and data flows.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including:
  • API documentation
  • Architecture diagrams
  • Integration guides
  • Deployment runbooks
  • Environment handover documentation
  • Update and rollback procedures
• Build and maintain integration components such as APIs, connectors, adapters, and automation scripts.
• Integrate solutions with enterprise platforms, including databases, messaging systems, ERP/CRM solutions, and internal APIs.
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and related technologies.
• Manage software updates, patches, and configuration changes in production environments.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and security issues involving VPNs, firewalls, proxies, certificates, authentication, and load balancers.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Delivery teams to ensure seamless deployments and customer success.
• Participate in technical discovery sessions, solution design, and implementation planning.
• Identify opportunities to standardize deployment processes and improve delivery efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical best practices.
• Participate in on-call support and critical production escalations as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Systems Integration, DevOps, Technical Implementation, Backend Engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and API development using frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or similar.
• Experience deploying and managing applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux.
• Experience working with on-premises, private cloud, or highly secure enterprise environments.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPNs, firewalls, proxies, DNS, TLS/SSL, load balancers, and certificate management.
• Experience integrating with enterprise systems such as REST/SOAP APIs, Oracle, SQL Server, ERP, CRM, or messaging platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work directly with client technical and business stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to client sites when required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within banking, fintech, or enterprise software environments.
• Knowledge of enterprise security standards and infrastructure best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud technologies.
• Experience working in customer-facing technical delivery roles.
