This leadership role requires an individual with a demonstrated ability to manage and oversee instrumentation activities, including the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of instrumentation systems that are crucial to our production processes. The Instrumentation Section Head will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations while leading a skilled team of engineers and technicians. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the instrumentation team to ensure the effective operation of all instrumentation systems in the chemical manufacturing facility.
• Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of new instrumentation and control systems to enhance production efficiency.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure the reliability and availability of instrumentation systems.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits of instrumentation processes to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and implement instrumentation solutions that improve process performance.
• Provide technical guidance and support for troubleshooting instrumentation issues and resolving operational challenges.
• Prepare and manage budget proposals for instrumentation projects and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems within the chemical manufacturing sector.
• Demonstrated experience in managing instrumentation projects from conception through to execution.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to instrumentation in chemical manufacturing.
• Proficiency in instrumentation design software and advanced analytical tools.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of developing and mentoring engineering teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
