About the job Audit Manager
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Audit Manager to lead and manage our audit team. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in auditing, with a strong background in both financial and operational audits. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage complex audit engagements, develop strong client relationships, and provide leadership to the audit team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience with complex audits in sectors such as financial services, manufacturing, or technology.
- Familiarity with international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Manage Audit Engagements: Plan, execute, and manage audits across a diverse client portfolio, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services in compliance with applicable standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS, PCAOB).
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, act as the primary point of contact for clients, and ensure their needs are met effectively and efficiently.
- Team Leadership & Development: Supervise, mentor, and guide junior audit staff and senior associates in their professional development. Provide ongoing feedback and support to ensure high team performance.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and assess audit risks and internal control weaknesses. Provide recommendations for improvements to clients' internal controls and operations.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with relevant financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Project Management: Manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and budgets are adhered to.
