The Role

We are looking for an experienced Immigration Specialist to manage and coordinate immigration, visa, work permit, residency, and mobility-related processes for international employees and business travelers. The role ensures compliance with applicable Egyptian regulations and internal policies while providing professional support to employees, managers, governmental authorities, and external service providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end immigration, visa, work permit, residency, governmental registration, and mobility processes for expatriate employees, international assignees, and business visitors.
  • Prepare, review, collect, and maintain all required documentation for immigration, work authorization, residency, and related applications.
  • Coordinate and submit applications with relevant governmental authorities and follow up on approvals, renewals, extensions, and status updates.
  • Organize medical examinations, governmental appointments, security clearances, and other mandatory immigration requirements.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for expatriates, managers, governmental authorities, embassies, and external service providers.
  • Monitor document validity and renewal deadlines to ensure uninterrupted legal employment and residency status.
  • Support international onboarding, mobilization, relocation, and repatriation activities.
  • Maintain accurate immigration records, employee files, and tracking systems in compliance with legal and internal requirements.
  • Identify potential immigration-related risks, delays, or compliance issues and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Continuously improve immigration processes, procedures, templates, reports, and tracking tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in immigration, employee mobility, governmental relations, visa processing, or a similar administrative role.
  • Proven experience managing work permits, residency permits, visas, and governmental registrations for expatriate employees.
  • Strong knowledge of Egyptian immigration, labour, residency, and work authorization requirements.
  • Experience dealing with governmental authorities, ministries, embassies, visa offices, or immigration service providers is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential documentation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Very good command of Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
  • Reliable, proactive, service-oriented, and able to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
