Job Summary
The Payroll & Personnel Specialist is responsible for managing payroll processing, personnel administration, employee records, and ensuring compliance with labor laws, social insurance, and tax regulations. The role supports employees throughout their employment lifecycle while maintaining accurate HR documentation and payroll records.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
- Calculate salaries, overtime, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and final settlements.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure confidentiality of employee information.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and Finance.
- Manage employee attendance and leave records.
- Handle personnel activities including hiring documentation, employee files, contract preparation, renewals, and terminations.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS.
- Process social insurance registrations, amendments, and terminations.
- Handle income tax calculations and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
- Prepare employment contracts, HR letters, and official documentation.
- Ensure compliance with labor law, company policies, and government regulations.
- Coordinate medical insurance enrollment and employee benefits administration.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, attendance, leave balances, and personnel matters.
- Support HR audits by preparing required reports and documentation.
- Generate monthly HR and payroll reports and KPIs.
- Collaborate with Finance to reconcile payroll data and ensure payment accuracy.
- Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Payroll and Personnel.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law, Social Insurance, and Income Tax regulations.
- Experience using HRIS and payroll systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
