The HSE Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This individual will also provide guidance and support to our employees and clients on all HSE matters. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations - Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions - Develop and deliver training programs on HSE topics to ensure all employees are aware of their responsibilities and best practices - Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement preventative measures - Maintain all necessary records and reports related to HSE activities - Serve as the main point of contact for all HSE inquiries and concerns from employees and clients - Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices to continuously improve our HSE programs Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a recruitment or staffing industry - Knowledge of local, state, and federal HSE regulations - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Attention to detail and strong analytical skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Certification in HSE (e.g. OSHA, NEBOSH) is preferred but not required We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
