Maintenance Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Preparing maintenance plans for all company equipment and its locations.

Monitoring the implementation of preventive maintenance plans for all company equipment (stations, pumps, mixers, loaders, generators, and all company vehicles).

Supervising medium and major overhauls.

Monitoring the inventory of spare parts for company equipment and maintaining a strategic stock to minimize downtime.

Conducting regular supervision of maintenance engineers at external sites and stations to monitor the implementation of maintenance and repair plans and assess the efficiency of the workforce at these sites.

Holding regular meetings for maintenance department staff (engineers, technicians, and administrators) to discuss work procedures, the extent of implementation of the agreed-upon plan, identify difficulties and obstacles they face in performing their duties, and work to resolve them.

Making decisions regarding the repair of any equipment at authorized dealerships and monitoring equipment at dealerships undergoing repair.

Preparing studies on various types of important equipment. Passing technical tests for drivers and operators before their employment with the company.

Implementing the activities outlined in the plan.

Supervising and properly guiding the maintenance team.

Coordinating with other departments such as Operations, Production, and Finance.

Participating in the selection and recruitment of the maintenance team, including job analysis and description, and determining the required qualifications.

Identifying the training needs of the maintenance team and the type of training required for each individual.

Evaluating the performance of the maintenance team by identifying effective and objective evaluation models.

Submitting periodic reports on maintenance work and achievements to the General Manager.

Adhering to the required standards for implementing occupational health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Ensuring that all maintenance department employees comply with all company regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 7-12 years of experience in the ready-mix concrete industry.
