Senior Travel Consultant

Location: Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Travel Consultant to manage corporate travel arrangements and provide high-quality travel solutions while ensuring compliance with client travel policies and service-level agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle all corporate travel services, including flight tickets, hotel bookings, car rentals, and taxi reservations.
  • Issue airline tickets and manage ticket exchanges, cancellations, and refunds.
  • Stay updated on airport regulations, travel advisories, and other relevant travel requirements.
  • Provide travel consultations in line with client policies and individual travel needs.
  • Manage bookings accurately, ensuring compliance with client profiles, travel policies, visa requirements, and health regulations.
  • Respond to emails and calls within agreed SLAs.
  • Manage travel arrangements for individual travelers and large groups.
  • Provide support during travel disruptions and handle urgent situations effectively.
  • Be available to work weekends and public holidays when required.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Travel Consultant, Travel Agent, or in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel, corporate travel, leisure travel, and group bookings.
  • Hands-on experience with Amadeus, GDS platforms, computer reservation systems, and e-travel tools.
  • Good knowledge of hotel reservations and related travel services.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to manage travel emergencies.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Personal travel experience is an advantage.
