About the job Payroll Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies

  • Maintain and update payroll data including attendance, overtime, leaves, and bonuses

  • Prepare payroll reports for management and finance teams

  • Reconcile payroll records and resolve discrepancies or employee inquiries

  • Coordinate with HR and Finance departments for accurate payroll input

  • Handle payroll tax calculations and submissions (insurance, income tax, etc.)

  • Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation

  • Stay updated with changes in labor law and social insurance regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

  • 4 to 6 years of proven experience in payroll processing

  • Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor law and tax/social insurance systems

  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
