Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Profile:

As a senior mechanical engineer, you will lead mechanical projects, ensure efficient and safe plant operations, and provide technical expertise across installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production, safety, and maintenance to maintain the plants mechanical integrity and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Lead mechanical engineering projects and provide technical support to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and safety departments.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain engineering documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the chemical or industrial sector.

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of pumps, compressors, piping systems, and rotating equipment.
• Familiarity with safety standards and preventive maintenance systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.
