Financial Controller

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our company and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record of success in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with company and industry standards

- Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports

- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize financial results

- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and external partners

- Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed

- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all tax filings and compliance requirements

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting standards and regulations, making recommendations for improvements as needed

- Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives and initiatives

- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- CPA or other relevant certification preferred

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software

- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Experience in recruitment or staffing industry a plus
