As part of our expansion, we are seeking a Planning Engineer (Claims) to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to contribute remotely from Egypt and transition into a key role once our Egypt office is established.

Role Overview

The Planning Engineer (Claims) will play a critical role in supporting our planning, scheduling, and claims management activities across major projects. The role requires strong expertise in construction claims, delay analysis, and project scheduling, along with the ability to provide commercial insights that support dispute resolution and project success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and maintain project schedules, resource allocation plans, and progress tracking reports.
  • Conduct delay and disruption analyses in support of claims and dispute resolution cases.
  • Prepare extension of time (EoT) submissions and claims documentation in compliance with contracts and industry standards.
  • Support dispute resolution teams with technical planning evidence and data-based justifications.
  • Coordinate with project managers, commercial teams, and clients to ensure alignment on project timelines and claims strategy.
  • Prepare and present forensic planning reports and expert witness documentation when required.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE and international construction standards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • 810 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and claims management within construction/real estate sectors.
  • Proven expertise in Primavera P6 and other project control tools.
  • Strong background in claims preparation, delay analysis techniques (e.g., Time Impact Analysis, As-Planned vs As-Built).
  • Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and international contract frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote, cross-border teams.

Working Conditions

  • Working Hours: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • Days Off: Friday + 2 Saturdays off per month
  • Remote work setup from Egypt until local office launch
