Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SOC Analyst to join our growing team. The SOC Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events and incidents within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor security events and alerts from various sources, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and other security tools - Analyze and investigate security incidents to determine the root cause and impact - Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures - Work with cross-functional teams to remediate security incidents and vulnerabilities - Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential risks - Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices - Develop and maintain security policies and procedures - Participate in security audits and compliance assessments - Provide training and support to other team members on security best practices Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a SOC Analyst role - Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices - Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and other security tools - Knowledge of network and system security, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability management - Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards, such as NIST, ISO, and PCI - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC, are a plus.
