Position: Project Manager - Hotel Construction
Company Overview:
Premier Service & Recruitment is a leading recruitment agency specializing in the hospitality industry. We are currently working with a prestigious hotel company to fill the position of Project Manager for their construction projects.
Job Summary:
The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of the hotel construction projects from start to finish. This includes planning, budgeting, scheduling, and managing the construction process to ensure timely and successful completion of the project within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project plans, budget, and schedule for hotel construction projects
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
- Monitor and control project progress, budget, and quality to ensure adherence to project plans
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure construction is progressing according to schedule and quality standards
- Communicate project updates and progress to senior management and other stakeholders
- Identify and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process
- Ensure compliance with all safety and building codes
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports
- Hire, train, and manage project team members and subcontractors
- Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates to all stakeholders
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Ensure project is completed within budget and to the satisfaction of the client
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in hotel construction
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations
- Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office
- Team player with strong leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed
