Job Summary
The Expat Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily administrative operations of an office serving a diverse, multinational workforce. This role ensures efficient office management while supporting expatriate employees and fostering effective communication across different cultures and nationalities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day office operations to ensure a productive work environment.
  • Coordinate administrative support for expatriate and local employees.
  • Handle office facilities, supplies, vendor relationships, and service providers.
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation of international employees.
  • Coordinate visa, residency, work permit, and relocation documentation with HR or external agencies (where applicable).
  • Arrange travel, accommodation, transportation, and meeting logistics for expatriate staff and visitors.
  • Maintain office policies and ensure compliance with company procedures and local regulations.
  • Support multicultural communication and promote an inclusive workplace.
  • Organize company events, meetings, and cross-cultural activities.
  • Prepare reports, maintain records, and manage confidential documentation.
  • Liaise with government authorities, embassies, and service providers when required.
  • Supervise administrative staff and coordinate office budgets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of office management or administrative experience, preferably in an international or multicultural environment.
  • Experience supporting expatriate employees is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
