Job Summary

The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for creating high-quality visual concepts and designs across print and digital media, with a strong emphasis on advertising campaigns, magazine layouts, branding, and marketing communications. The role requires a highly creative professional with extensive experience in editorial design, advertising, typography, and brand development who can lead projects from concept to final production while ensuring consistency with brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Design

  • Develop creative concepts and visual solutions for advertising campaigns, corporate branding, and marketing initiatives.
  • Design compelling print and digital advertisements for magazines, newspapers, billboards, brochures, flyers, catalogs, and promotional materials.
  • Produce engaging digital assets for websites, social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all communication materials.

Editorial & Magazine Design

  • Design and produce professional magazine layouts from concept through final print production.
  • Create visually engaging editorial spreads using strong typography and grid systems.
  • Coordinate with editors, writers, photographers, and printers to ensure high-quality publication standards.
  • Prepare artwork according to print specifications and publishing requirements.
  • Ensure deadlines are consistently met for publication schedules.

Brand Development

  • Develop and maintain corporate visual identity standards.
  • Design logos, corporate profiles, annual reports, presentations, and brand guidelines.
  • Support brand positioning through creative visual communication.
  • Ensure consistency across all marketing and communication materials.

Advertising Campaigns

  • Create integrated advertising campaigns across multiple media channels.
  • Design point-of-sale materials, outdoor advertising, exhibition graphics, and event branding.
  • Produce creative concepts that align with marketing objectives and target audiences.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaign strategies.

Digital Design

  • Design graphics for websites, landing pages, and digital campaigns.
  • Create engaging social media content and display advertisements.
  • Develop motion graphics or simple animations when required.
  • Optimize artwork for multiple digital platforms.

Production Management

  • Prepare artwork for offset and digital printing.
  • Coordinate with printing vendors and production houses.
  • Review proofs and ensure color accuracy and production quality.
  • Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

Team Collaboration

  • Mentor and guide junior graphic designers.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative reviews.
  • Collaborate with copywriters, photographers, videographers, and marketing teams.
  • Present creative concepts to internal stakeholders.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all creative work meets company brand standards.
  • Review designs for accuracy, consistency, and quality.
  • Stay current with design trends, software updates, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Advertising, or a related field.

Experience

  • 5–8 years of professional graphic design experience.
  • Proven experience in advertising agencies, publishing houses, magazines, or corporate marketing departments.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating advertising campaigns, editorial design, magazine layouts, and branding projects.
  • Experience preparing artwork for commercial printing.
