Maintenance Department Manager
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare required maintenance plans for all company equipment and its sites.
Follow up on the implementation of preventive maintenance plans for all company equipment (stations, pumps, mixers, loaders, generators, and all company vehicles).
Supervise medium and major repairs (overhauls).
Monitor inventory of spare parts for company equipment and create a strategic inventory to reduce downtime.
Periodically supervise maintenance engineers at external sites and stations to monitor the implementation of maintenance and repair plans and determine the efficiency of on-site workers.
Hold periodic meetings for Maintenance Department employees (engineers, technicians, and administrators) to discuss work procedures and the extent of implementation of the agreed-upon plan. Identify and resolve any difficulties and obstacles they face in performing their duties.
Make decisions to repair any authorized equipment and monitor equipment at authorized dealerships undergoing repair.
Prepare studies for various types of critical equipment.
Approving technical tests for drivers and operators prior to their appointment to the company.
Implementing the activities identified in the plan.
Supervising and properly directing the efforts of the maintenance crew.
Coordinating with other departments, such as operations, production, and finance.
Participating in the selection and hiring of maintenance staff, including job analysis, job descriptions, and determining the required qualifications.
Determining the training needs of the maintenance staff and the type of training required for each individual.
Evaluating the efforts of the maintenance staff by identifying effective and objective evaluation models for the maintenance staff's performance.
Submitting periodic reports on maintenance work and achievements to the company's General Manager.
Committing to implementing occupational health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures at the required level.
Ensuring that all employees in the Maintenance Department adhere to all company regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical), with at least 7-12 years of experience in the ready-mix concrete field.
