The Role:

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and results-driven Digital Marketing Manager to own our entire digital marketing function. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled marketer who is both a strategist and a doer. In the beginning, you will be a one-person department responsible for developing the strategy, executing campaigns, analyzing data, and driving growth. As the company scales, you will have the opportunity to build and lead our marketing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Planning: Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and grow online sales.
  • Execution & Campaign Management:
    • SEO/SEM: Manage and optimize our on-page and technical SEO to improve organic search rankings. Plan and execute effective Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Display) and other PPC campaigns.
    • Social Media Marketing: Develop our social media presence (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) by creating and curating engaging content, managing the community, and running targeted ad campaigns.
    • Email Marketing: Build and segment our email list. Design and execute email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional offers, and automated workflows (e.g., abandoned cart, welcome series).
    • Content Marketing: Plan and create compelling content that resonates with coffee enthusiasts, such as blog posts, buying guides, brewing tutorials, and product descriptions to fuel our SEO and social channels.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Define key marketing KPIs. Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics. Use data-driven insights to optimize strategy and tactics.
  • Budget Management: Plan and manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring an effective allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Skills):

  • 35+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of success in an e-commerce environment.
  • A "Full-Stack" Skillset: Demonstrable, hands-on experience across key channels including SEO, SEM (Google Ads), Social Media Ads (Meta Ads), and Email Marketing.
  • Data-Driven: Proficient with Google Analytics, with a strong ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Self-Starter: You are highly motivated, comfortable with ambiguity, and have a "founder's mentality." You can take a high-level goal and figure out the steps to get there without needing constant supervision.
  • Excellent Communicator: Strong writing skills are essential for creating compelling ad copy, email newsletters, and content.
  • A passion for coffee is a huge plus!
