Job Title: Hospitality Hostess
Job Summary:
The Hospitality Hostess is the first point of contact for guests in a restaurant, hotel, or event venue. She is responsible for warmly welcoming guests, managing reservations and seating arrangements, and ensuring guests have a pleasant and smooth experience from arrival to seating.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Manage reservations and maintain an accurate waitlist, coordinating with the front-of-house team.

Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.

Communicate effectively with kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth seating flow.

Answer guest inquiries about the venue, menu, and services.

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and entrance area.

Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and escalate to management when necessary.

Assist with phone calls, including taking reservations and providing information.

Monitor guest flow to optimize seating and minimize wait times.

Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and hospitable environment.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or a similar role preferred.
