Role Overview:

The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing testing strategies for both web and mobile applications, using both manual and automated testing methods. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of quality assurance best practices in fintech environments.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
2. Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
3. Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing to ensure product stability and security.
4. Collaborate with development and product teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle.
5. Document and track issues, ensuring they are addressed and resolved before deployment.
6. Conduct API testing to validate integrations and data exchanges between front-end and back-end systems.
7. Monitor application performance post-release and assist in troubleshooting issues.
8. Mentor junior QA team members, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance and testing, with a focus on web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in fintech or secure environments, with knowledge of compliance standards.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration with testing tools.
• Experience with security testing and knowledge of tools like WAF and SIEM solutions.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
