 Job Description:

. JOB PURPOSE:

Assistant brand is required to support the brand manager in an organization. He may have to look after a

specific brand or a few brands that may or may not specialize in a product or service. It is always

necessary to identify and place each brand, so that the customers are able to distinguish it from brands of

the rival companies.

Assistant brand usually performs a market research in order to measure the effect of marketing and

promotional strategies for a brand. This procedure is also necessary to understand the perception of the

consumers. To develop a new product or product range for an existing brand, the brand assistant again

has to identify the needs of the consumers before going further.

The assistant brand presents the research reports to the brand manager and helps in the development of

placement and promotional strategies for the brand

3. MAIN TASKS:

Focusing on developing a brand's profit and loss performance, image and positioning in the market

Should be the smart eye on the sales performance.

Working closely to the sales team in order to know the market trends, customer`s requirements and

the overall market situation.

Sharing in setting the annual target in conjunction with the brand Manager & the Sales Manager as

well.

Monitor the annual marketing budget which set by the brand Manager by presenting monthly reports

shows the expenses & the ROI on each & every marketing investment.

The assistant brand manager shall be followed the brand identity manual in all the communications

activities.

The assistant brand manager is the one who is responsible for implementing the annual marketing

plan properly through clear annual marketing calendar.

assistant Brand Manager is responsible on monitoring the stock in order to be analysed on monthly

basis, may be on weekly basis.

assistant Brand manager is monitoring the brand`s sales on daily basis whether in the modern or

traditional trade channels.

The assistant brand manager will follow-up the advertising agencies and their performance based

on the marketing manager requirements.

assistant Brand manager is responsible for writing all the communication & research briefs that

shared with the vendors & suppliers.

Marketing team, Central Functions ( Sales , Fleet , HR & admin , etc.).

6. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

BSc degree (Commerce Marketing Business administration Mass communication)

Experience: 2-5 years experience.

Skills:

very good written and Spoken English

Computer Literate

Planning and Organising skills

Ability to act decisively

Ability to solve problems and think outside of the box

Demonstrate strong analytical, modelling, and PowerPoint capabilities.

Results-oriented, innovative thinker with a focus on continuous improvement.

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management and ability to function

effectively as part of a team to gain cooperation of individuals across the organization.
