P2P Accountant

Job Overview:

The PTP (Procure-to-Pay) Accountant is responsible for processing and managing all activities related to accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This role involves maintaining vendor relationships, supporting closing activities, and contributing to process automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process transactions for internal and external suppliers, ensuring adherence to internal controls and company procedures.
  • Resolve accounts payable (AP) queries and investigations promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Prepare payment proposals as per the agreed schedule, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Maintain and update vendor master data.
  • Process invoices, debit and credit notes, bank receipts, and payments.
  • Perform vendor and customer account reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including ledgers and supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and respond to inquiries.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, account and bank reconciliations, and accruals.
  • Assist with audit preparation and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports to support the Business Controller and management.
  • Support automation initiatives by assisting in the implementation of tools to streamline and improve process efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
  • 23 years of experience in accounting, specifically in PTP.
  • Strong command of English.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus.

Work Conditions:

  • After the preparation period and as per agreed with her / his direct team leader will have 2 days per week from home
  • The reporting line for this position.; will report to the Team Leader
