Financial Manager

Job Summary:

The Financial Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health and strategy of the company. This includes budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. The Financial Manager plays a critical role in supporting business decisions and driving profitability in a furniture production and retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and monitor annual budgets and forecasts in alignment with the companys strategic goals.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management.
  • Manage cash flow and ensure the companys liquidity to support operations and growth.
  • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and payroll functions.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Ensure compliance with all local tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and financial institutions.
  • Supervise and develop the finance team.
  • Monitor inventory costs and pricing strategy, especially for raw materials and finished furniture products.
  • Assist in developing pricing models and profitability analysis for furniture products and services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Masters degree or CPA/CMA preferred).
  • Minimum 510 years of financial management experience, preferably in the manufacturing or retail sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in inventory and cost control is a strong advantage.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the furniture or manufacturing industry.
  • Ability to implement financial controls and improve financial processes.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier or vendor relations
