Job Summary:
As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and supporting the sales pipeline. This is a results-driven role that requires a proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of sales and business development processes.
Daily Tasks:
- Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential B2B clients, corporate accounts, and strategic partners.
- Initiate outreach to schools, nurseries, businesses, and institutions via email, phone, and LinkedIn.
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings or presentations with key decision-makers.
- Maintain and manage a sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring timely follow-ups and status updates.
- Customize proposals and sales pitches based on client profiles and needs.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align on pricing, fulfillment, and service offerings for B2B clients.
- Track performance metrics for outreach, conversions, and partnerships secured.
- Regularly report on B2B sales progress, market insights, and client feedback.
General Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to grow B2B sales channels across various sectors.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with institutional buyers and corporate partners.
- Support the development and implementation of tailored business solutions for large-scale accounts.
- Collaborate on the creation of go-to-market plans for new B2B-focused initiatives.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor movements, and emerging opportunities in the B2B space.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar client-facing role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work both independently and in a team.
