Job Description: Project Manager Automotive Group

Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to act as the single point of contact for all projects across our Automotive Group. This individual will be responsible for overseeing project execution, tracking progress, and ensuring that tasks assigned to various teams are completed within the agreed timelines. The role requires a proactive problem-solver with exceptional coordination and project management tool expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Planning and Management:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Ensure projects align with strategic goals
  2. Project Planning, Documentation, Coordination and Execution:
    • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.
    • Develop and maintain project charters, timelines, and schedules to ensure clarity and alignment.
    • Ensure proper documentation for all phases of the project lifecycle.
    • Monitor project progress, manage dependencies, and resolve issues proactively.
  3. Project Management Tools Utilization:
    • Leverage advanced project management tools such as MS Project, Asana, Jira, Trello, and similar platforms to coordinate tasks, track progress, and enhance collaboration.
    • Implement dashboards using Power BI or similar tools for real-time project reporting and performance analysis.
    • Train and support team members in effectively utilizing these tools.
  1. Stakeholder Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communication.
    • Collaborate with department heads and external vendors to ensure seamless execution and alignment.
  2. Risk and Quality Management:
    • Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure quality deliverables across all projects.
    • Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
  3. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Provide detailed reports weekly and monthly to senior management on project status, milestones
    • Analyze project outcomes to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills

  1. Educational Background:
    • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
  2. Experience:
    • 710 years of project management experience, preferably in the automotive or related industries.
    • Proven success in managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects, including infrastructure and service-oriented initiatives.
  3. Project Management Tools Expertise:
    • Advanced proficiency with project management tools: MS Project, Jira, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or equivalent.
    • Expertise in creating dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau for performance tracking.
    • Familiarity with team communication platforms like Microsoft Teams or Slack.
  4. Skills and Attributes:

Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
