Job Title: Waiter / Waitress

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, efficient, and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests by providing excellent service, taking accurate food and drink orders, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.

• Present menus and offer detailed information when asked (e.g., about ingredients, specials, or allergy information).

• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff.

• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner.

• Check on guests to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any concerns.

• Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.

• Process bills and handle payments accurately.

• Follow all food safety and sanitation policies.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining and service areas.

• Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth operation and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service role preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

• Basic math skills for handling payments.

• Professional appearance and positive attitude.

• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Physical stamina to stand and walk for long periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Familiarity with POS systems.

• Knowledge of food safety regulations.
