Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of our company's internal controls, risk management processes, and governance procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal audit and possess excellent analytical and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough and independent audits of the company's operations and processes, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations to management. - Develop and maintain a risk-based audit plan to ensure all key business areas are reviewed on a regular basis. - Review and assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with company policies and procedures. - Identify potential risks and provide recommendations for mitigating them. - Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management and work with them to develop action plans for implementation. - Monitor and track the progress of action plans to ensure timely completion. - Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure the company's internal audit processes are in line with current standards. - Train and mentor junior auditors, providing guidance and support as needed. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or other relevant certification preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in a similar industry. - Strong knowledge of internal audit principles, practices, and techniques. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit software.
