Job Purpose
lead and manage a team of SAP professionals, ensuring the successful execution and support of SAP projects and systems. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of SAP projects, from planning and implementation to optimization and support. The goal is to align SAP initiatives with business objectives, improve operational efficiency, and drive innovation within the organization. Additionally, the role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that SAP solutions meet business needs and compliance standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SAP professionals, ensuring high performance and career development.
- Provide guidance and oversight in the execution of SAP projects, ensuring they align with company objectives.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective Operation and support of SAP systems.
- Act as the primary point of contact for SAP-related escalations and issue resolution.
System Management:
- Oversee end-to-end SAP projects, from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define SAP system requirements and develop project roadmaps.
- Manage SAP upgrades, implementations, and rollouts across various modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP FICO, SAP MM, SAP SD, etc.).
System Optimization & Support:
- Ensure the stability, security, and performance of the SAP systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP system issues, working closely with internal teams and external vendors when necessary.
- Continuously monitor and optimize SAP processes and workflows to improve operational efficiency.
Strategic Planning & Development:
- Develop long-term SAP strategy to align with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
- Identify opportunities for automation, streamlining processes, and integrating new technologies within the SAP environment.
- Stay current with the latest SAP product releases and industry trends to drive innovation within the organization.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Work with business leaders to understand needs and translate them into actionable SAP solutions.
- Ensure that SAP solutions meet both business requirements and compliance standards.
- Facilitate training and knowledge transfer to end users to ensure the effective use of SAP systems.
Job Specification:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.
Year of Experience:
- 10+ years of experience working with SAP systems, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong experience with SAP modules such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP FICO, SAP MM, SAP SD, and other related modules.
- Proven track record of successful SAP project management, including full implementations and system upgrades.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Experience in change management and process improvement initiatives within SAP environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of SAP integration with other enterprise systems is preferred.
- Certification in SAP Project Management (e.g., PMP, SAP Certified Project Manager) is a plus.
- Experience with SAP TRM, FICA and Case Management Modules.
- Familiarity with PSCD industry-specific SAP solutions is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP tools such as Solution Manager, SAP HANA Studio, etc.
