Job Title: Financial Manager

Job Purpose
To oversee and manage the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost control, and profitability. The Financial Manager will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and supporting strategic decisions that enhance the companys performance and growth in the furniture sector.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to management.
- Conduct variance analysis between actual results and budgets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management.
Cost Control & Manufacturing Accounting
- Monitor production costs, raw material usage, and labor expenses to ensure cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with the production and procurement teams to optimize inventory and minimize waste.
- Implement cost allocation methods suitable for manufacturing operations (e.g., job costing, standard costing).
- Track and report on product margins and profitability per product line or showroom.
Accounting & Compliance
- Supervise all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable/payable, and general ledger.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, audits, and financial policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors for yearly audits and maintain accurate documentation.
- Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and payments to suppliers.
Strategic & Operational Support
- Provide financial guidance to management on pricing, sales targets, and expansion decisions.
- Assess the financial viability of new projects, branches, or showrooms.
- Support digital transformation initiatives such as ERP implementation for financial tracking and inventory control.
- Oversee financial risk management and propose strategies for sustainable growth.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (MBA or CMA is a plus).
- Minimum 7:10 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the furniture, manufacturing, or retail industry.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory control systems.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards and tax laws.
