Job Summary

The Quality Control Retail Manager is responsible for ensuring consistent operational excellence, compliance with company standards, and superior customer experience across all retail stores. The role oversees quality control processes, conducts store audits, monitors compliance with operational procedures, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall retail performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control standards and procedures across all retail locations.
  • Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, visual merchandising standards, and operational guidelines.
  • Monitor customer service quality and ensure a consistent brand experience across all stores.
  • Evaluate store operations, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective action plans.
  • Monitor inventory management, stock accuracy, shrinkage, and loss prevention practices.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
  • Analyze audit results, customer feedback, and operational KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Retail Operations, HR, Training, and Store Managers to improve operational performance.
  • Develop quality reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Support new store openings by ensuring compliance with operational and quality standards.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in retail operations or quality control, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in retail chains, fashion, luxury, FMCG, or consumer goods is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of retail operations, quality assurance, SOPs, and customer service standards.
  • Experience in conducting operational audits and compliance reviews.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/POS retail systems.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel regularly between retail locations.
