About the job IPRAN Engineer
Job Purpose:
Responsible for planning, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of the IPRAN (IP Radio Access Network) to ensure efficient and reliable data transport between radio sites and the core network. The role involves configuring and troubleshooting IP/MPLS-based backhaul networks that support 3G, 4G, and 5G mobile services.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain IPRAN network solutions based on IP/MPLS architecture.
Configure and manage routers, switches, and other IP transport equipment.
Perform network integration for new sites (NodeB/eNodeB/gNodeB) into the IPRAN.
Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and low latency.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to routing, QoS, and link performance.
Support capacity planning, traffic analysis, and network optimization.
Coordinate with transmission, core, and radio teams to ensure smooth end-to-end service delivery.
Participate in IPRAN network expansion and migration projects.
Prepare and maintain network documentation, configurations, and topology diagrams.
Ensure compliance with company and vendor standards for security and performance.

Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelors degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
35 years of experience in IP transport or mobile backhaul networks.
Strong knowledge of IP/MPLS, OSPF, BGP, VLAN, QoS, and Ethernet technologies.
Hands-on experience with routers/switches from vendors such as Huawei, Cisco, or Nokia.
Understanding of RAN architecture (2G/3G/4G/5G) and transmission systems.
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
Good communication and coordination skills in cross-functional environments.

Cisco CCNP / CCIE (Routing & Switching or Service Provider).
Nokia NRS certifications.
