Position Title: HR Operations Lead

Reports To: Regional HR Director / Country Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and confident HR Operations Lead to manage the full HR operations function (excluding recruitment and L&D). The ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities, solid HR experience, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with regional teams.
This role will begin remotely until the Egypt office officially opens.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations Management
- Oversee daily HR operations across the company.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and Egyptian labor laws.
- Manage employee data, HR files, and documentation.
- Handle onboarding/offboarding and the full employee lifecycle.
- Maintain HR SOPs, policies, and employee handbook.
- Provide accurate HR reports to management.
2. Employee Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Promote a positive work environment aligned with company values.
3. Performance & Policy Management
- Support performance review cycles and ensure timely follow-up.
- Implement and maintain HR policies and ensure consistency.
- Recommend updates to procedures for improved efficiency.
4. Payroll & HR Administration
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs and validate accuracy.
- Manage attendance, leave records, and disciplinary documentation.
- Issue contracts, HR letters, and administrative documents.
5. Coordination With Regional Teams
- Collaborate with regional HR and management for alignment.
- Prepare HR operations setup for the new Egypt office.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR operations, preferably within engineering, construction, or consulting sectors.
- Strong leadership personality with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of Egyptian labor law and HR best practices.
- Ability to work remotely with high responsibility and discipline.
