Formulation Management:

  • Study market needs and requirements regarding our range of products, contribute to decision of launching local blending of products & recommend rationalization actions based on the concerned information regarding types of components versus those already in use, products cost impact, operational feasibility & impacts on process complexity.
  • As the focal point for products formulations & specifications, communicate with HQ team to get the required Formulations / Specifications reference for all products, manage the necessary pilot blending study and validate proceeding of concerned blending process.
  • Manage products cost studies required for sales tenders or new launches, providing the requested technical support & information to finalize the necessary tender file.
  • Articles creation & coding process through UMDS Dashboard and by communicating with the Harmony team at HQ to process & finalize the UMDS Requests with reference to the concerned Global procedure & the concerned local regulating procedure.
  • Work closely with Supply team to capture the components cost trend & concerned time frame, assess the products cost on monthly basis with reference to the alternative formulation & with respect to different components availability to advice an updated prioritization of alternative formulations that ensure the most optimized cost of products.
  • Provide different solutions/ alternatives to maximize different localizations projects. Participate with supply & other teams to reach target $ savings to support current Forex situation.

Lubricants Material Management:

  • As the Lubricants MM (SAP Material Management) Key User, creation of local views for new articles, maintain extension to the different Plants as per each material classification, maintain extension to the validated sales channel at each Plant, and close the phased-out articles.
  • As the Lubricants MM (Material Management) Key User, responsible to create BOM (Bill of materials) for different PGENs / articles on SAP. Create new packaging materials articles (packs, labels, pails & cartons, etc....)

Customer Technical support:

  • Support to sales team with product recommendations, alternatives, product trials, lube surveys, Total cost of ownership programs. Participate in different tenders to provide optimum & most cost competitive alternative products.
  • Provide customers with technical advice, providing customers with different lubricants product profile, conduct In-field trials with customers, preparing different REX/POP (Return on Experience / Proof of Performance) for our products.
  • Provide after-sales support to customers through visits. recommendations & ANAC analysis results.
  • Assist the procurement team to source the correct raw materials to manufacture our products.
    Training:
  • Managing Training Lubricant knowledge —
  • External customers' training includes knowledge of product range, alternatives, sampling used oil for analysis and lubrication.

Services:

  • Provide range of services to customers including used oil monitoring "ANAC", Monitor the registration performance of used oil analyses on ANAC Dashboard to ensure proper use of the tool and to react/support if necessary, being the reference for the laboratory users, communicate with the customers' results / recommendations.
  • Support sales team identifying potential new customers through our technical services offering.
  • Provide Oil filtration & other services to B2B customers as a plus tool to generate more value
  • Developing, maintaining and supporting digital platforms- Distributor portals, LMDB etc
  • Provide technical advice & feedback to customer service team to reply to inquiries Facebook, etc.
  • Custodian of quality control for the full range of company products.
  • Communication with Head office for all base oils, additives and packaging raw materials development & implementations, seeking
    approvals for new or updating labels considering marketing, company requirements & local regulations. Validate the final generated 
    packages specifications & artwork to be used as a reference for Supply team.
  • Set the QC requirements/ plan to ensure brand & product image, acceptance of different packaging materials, ensure all Quality control measures has been implemented during filling operations, perform regular supplier audits along with Supply team.
  • Manage the investigation process of customer quality related complaints, recommending the adequate methodology & providing the necessary guidance to complete the investigation. Validate the concluded corrective actions & confirm its proper implementation.

Blending Plant Support:

  • Supervision for laboratory operation. Ensure its effective results, monitor Round Robin results performance and ANAC round Robin performance, review the feedback report & assess/advice the necessary actions (if any). Managing the laboratory in ISO 17025 certification, maintain the certificate updated & well performed.
  • Launch & update the Products Blending Procedures, compatibility matrix, slops managements & concerned Quality Control Plan with respect to TE reference Guidelines & Lubricants Business Book. Provide the Blending Plant with the necessary support to ensure correct & proper implementation.
  • Conduct internal audit to cover different certifications ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001 & 17025. Ensure different systems are working properly corrective / preventive actions & improvements are applied.

Product Stewardship:

As Local Product Steward, he is responsible for chemical regulatory compliance within the country, in close collaboration with the Regional Product Steward, the main tasks are:

  • Follow up of the list of active commercial products, create and keep up to date the list of Raw Material SDSs,
  • Carry out regulatory monitoring of national regulations & check the compliance of raw materials & finished products.
