Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Automotive Commercial Operations
Location : outside Egypt.
Job Summary:
The COO will oversee daily operations and drive commercial performance across automotive sales, distribution, and aftersales functions. This role requires deep expertise in the automotive sector, with a strong focus on revenue growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership:
- Lead and optimize day-to-day operations across sales, supply chain, logistics, and aftersales services.
- Commercial Strategy Execution:
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to increase market share, revenue, and profitability in automotive products and services.
- Sales & Distribution Management:
- Oversee dealer networks, fleet sales, retail channels, and partnerships to maximize performance.
- Aftermarket & Service Operations:
- Drive growth in spare parts, maintenance services, and customer retention programs.
- Financial Performance:
- Manage P&L, budgets, cost controls, and profitability metrics across all operational units.
- Customer Experience:
- Ensure high standards in customer satisfaction, service delivery, and brand loyalty.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable systems, digital tools, and lean processes.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and service departments.
- Market Analysis:
- Monitor automotive industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategy.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, safety policies, and corporate governance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 15-20+ years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Strong background in commercial operations (sales, dealer management, aftermarket).
- Proven leadership experience in a senior operational role.
- Strong financial acumen and P&L management experience.
- Experience with OEMs, distributors, or large dealership networks is highly desirable.
